Website DNS Cutover

prideofourfootscray.bar still serves the old Google Sites presence — verified 2026-06-10: www resolves to ghs.googlehosted.com, apex to non-Vercel IPs. The rebuilt site lives at pride-website.vercel.app (Vercel Pro, syd1). The cutover is a pending launch-day action.

Do NOT change DNS before launch day — it takes down the current Google Sites immediately.

Cutover steps (from the retired repo doc, April 2026)

  1. Add prideofourfootscray.bar + www.prideofourfootscray.bar (redirect to apex) in Vercel Project Settings → Domains. “Invalid Configuration” until DNS updates is expected.
  2. At the registrar (whois to confirm — likely Squarespace Domains post Google Domains acquisition): set A @ 76.76.21.21 and CNAME www cname.vercel-dns.com; remove existing @/www records pointing at Google Sites. Re-check Vercel’s currently recommended record values in the dashboard at cutover time — the A-record value above is the April 2026 recommendation and may have been superseded.
  3. SSL auto-provisions once DNS propagates (5–30 min typical, up to 48 h). Verify apex loads and www redirects.

Rollback

Revert the registrar records to the prior Google Sites values; the old site resumes within minutes of propagation.
